Absolutely...book a service and go in all big eyes and ears and little mouth!
And then if you like what you observe, book a 15 minute appt with the owner/manager rather than just showing up. If they want to know all about you on the phone, give a brief explanation but say "I feel we need to get together to talk about this...communication is better in person...would Wed at 2:30 work?"
