Gr8nails, I am just going to guess this, but I seriously doubt that that is REALLY what the tech is doing. I would bet that this is at a chop shop and the co-worker really had no clue what they are really putting on her nails. Case in point. ... my mother told me her girl was doing gels on her. I asked her the procedure. Can you believe that she went to this place every two weeks for three years and she could not tell me the steps?????? She was going to a chop shop and after a game of twenty questions, it dawned on my mother that she had chop shop MMA on her nails. I bet your friend has SOG polish and is having the wool pulled over her eyes. OR she had MMA with gel polish. JMHO of course. .
