At NDSU we see between 55% and 65% of inbound traffic is IPv6. So if you are sizing your CGNAT box based on bandwidth it can be about half the size if you have IPv6 enabled everywhere. If you are sizing your CGNAT box based on flows/sessions rather than bandwidth the split is still about 50% for us. We have had IPv6 enabled on our entire campus network including wireless since 2008.
