I feel the same. Nowadays, I basically use packetpushers Slack/ IRC and
other few IRC channels on Libera.For networking news and discussions,
Linkedin is pretty active (another walled garden).
With IRCv3 features getting implemented in most IRC clients, should we
give it a try again? Channel history has been implemented for a while so
you won't miss a lot when offline.
