I agree that its much cleaner (but I still haven't had time to use the
current implementation  ... shame on me ..)...

My only concern is backward compatibilty ... However, I have no probem
breaking backward compatibilty at this stage if its worth the trouble ...

And is this case, it could indeed be worth it ...

I'll try to find some time this weekend to test the current implementation,
but I first have to get the beta 1 release of NAnt 0.84 out of the door ...

I agree ...

I just want to be sure that there are no more drawbacks "lurking" (is this
the right word ?) for this implementation, other than that I definitely like
it ...
