Actually, I was planning on using the vb6 task to do the actual compile for me. From the docs I believe it verifies references exist but doesn't actually compute a dependency tree.
I'm not building anything in that is specific to my project, so I hope it will be a standalone wrapper task for the vb6 task just as the solution task wraps the individual .NET tasks. I've only put a few hours of work into it yet, so it is nowhere near ready. On the other hand, we have a real need for this task :) The product I am trying to build turns out to have 187 vb projects, about 40 missing references and 1 circular reference (argh).
