Recently we had some fresh blood join the NAnt team - more precisely Charles
Chan and Ryan Boggs - so the future looks bright again ;-)
At this moment, Charles and Ryan are focusing on setting up the necessary
infrastructure (wiki, continuous build) and preparing for a new release.
I'm sure they'll follow up on this post themselves.
Personally, I won't be very active until some time this fall (house,
daughter, .).
I'm still monitoring all posts, and I'll be reviewing patches and commits.
I have no intention of quitting NAnt - I've just had different priorities
(sometimes by choice, sometimes out of necessity).
That said, there's always room for extra help - and you don't have to be a
geek.
We could just as well use people for testing, support, web design, doc
writers, .
If you have some time - and you want to help move this great product
forward - then please step forward.

It's been quite a while since there has been a nant release. What are the
plans for it?
Are the primary dev's still finding time to work on it? Gert and others?
For example, any support for .Net 4 and VS 2010?
Or... have the contributors pretty much put it in legacy mode expecting that
everyone has moved to MSBuild?
Perhaps there is someone else that has time to pick it up and get it a bit
more active again. It certainly is a great product.
