I have verified that this is no longer a problem and ensured that optimistic
types really were disabled/enabled in the different configurations. When doing
so, I noticed that the logging that should tell us if this is the case is
missing, and there were also some other cosmetic problems with the compiler
log. I fixed that, and also added the short name “-ot” for optimistic typing.
