With recent beatings of Native activists in the area, and other deaths in
Rapid City, I am real curious as to the "lack of criminal activity" found

Police Take Another Look At Creekside Deaths

http://fox7.blackhills.com/cgi-bin/archived.pl?913420495
With two bodies found along Rapid Creek this week, the Rapid City Police
Department is taking a number of actions to ensure such incidents are
less common.
Patrols are being stepped up along the creek and detectives are re-opening
investigations into 3 creekside deaths earlier this year. While no
evidence of criminal
activity has been discovered as yet, there may be a disturbing pattern
of homeless
people turning up dead in or near the creek and officers want to be
certain they have
not overlooked anything. Meanwhile, authorities have release the name
of the second
man found dead near the creek this week. Though official autopsy
results have not
been release, Fox 7 has learned that those results may indicate that 33
year old John
Two Bulls of Rapid City was very ill at the time of his death.
