Meanwhile, the identity of the man found dead yesterday under the East North bridge has been released. Yellow Hawk was struck by 4 bullets following an altercation at a party and Dustin Seegrist was arrested last week. Both teens remain in custody and are to be tried as adults. Prosecutors have not ruled out seeking the death penalty in the case. Even though two suspects are in custody, police tell Fox 7 that the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. He is accused of shooting 26 year old Royce Yellow Hawk in a Rapid City alley early on Thursday morning. Yellow Hawk was found dead with 4 gunshot wounds to the torso. Police tell Fox 7 that some evidence suggests the incident may have began as a fist fight, but then the situation escalated. The State's Attorney office is considering whether or not to ask for the death penalty in the case, and a preliminary hearing is expected in the next 10 days. Seegrist denies the charges and has asked to speak with a lawyer.
