I will be sending our donations to the Native American Women's Health
Education Resource Center at the end of the week. I have received six
donations:
Two from the American Indian Studies Network
Three from members of the PRC
One from the American Indian Movement -- Chicago
To refresh memories: the latest "honoring" of Native people that the
pro-"chief" people engaged in-- The Women's center they attempted to give
money to refused to accept the money of people who support racist mascots.
Since the Center has had their work disrupted by the racists' games, we are
asking folks to make a contribution to the Native American Women's Health
Education Resource Center. Because of the flurry of e-mails and phone
calls they received, we are attempting to collect donations and send them
all at once. We should honor them for placing integrity higher than their
financial needs. Every little bit helps -- no amount is too small.
