Friends of Grizzly Bears!

Below is a job announcement for summer tablers in Yellowstone Park. I would
appreciate it if you could spread the word to anyone you think might be
interested. Thanks for your help!

Mel

SUMMER POSITION AVAILABLE

The Sierra Club Grizzly Bear Ecosystems Project, based in Bozeman, Montana,
seeks volunteers interested in grizzly bears and grizzly bear recovery for
summer tabling in Yellowstone National Park. The purpose of our tabling effort
is to generate public comments to stop premature delisting of the Yellowstone
grizzly. Qualified individuals must be friendly, flexible, and have experience
dealing with the public. It is helpful, but not necessary, that applicants
have some knowledge of ecology, wildlife biology, and/or environmental issues
in general, with particular focus on conservation issues of the Rocky Mountain
West.

We seek a minimum commitment of two weeks--though we will be conducting tabling
from June 15th through Labor Day, and welcome those interested in volunteering
more than two weeks of their time. Housing will be provided in a gateway
community adjacent to Yellowstone Park (compensation for food and other
personal expenses will not be provided). Transportation is not necessary, but
volunteers will find it useful. If you have further questions, please feel
free to email Mel Frost at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or call 406-582-8365.

If you are interested, please submit a cover letter, resume and references to:
