Hence, there are two possibilities:
a. scrap the threaded allocator
b. fix the threaded allocator
I will try the b. first. Stephen, if you can confirm that
between 8.4.6 and 8.4.9 the leak start to raise its ugly
head, the work to fix that will be much less. Otherwise
I must prepare myself for several days electronic archeology.
