It does work perfectly, therefore it is configuration related.

I'll work with my setup and double check everything in the config
file.

When I pinpoint the problem I'll post the solution to close the
thread.

    Just a quick followup: I've tested what I've suggested below with
      Debian buster (== Debian stable)

    

        root@buster# uname -a    Linux buster 4.19.0-13-amd64 #1 SMP
Debian 4.19.160-2 (2020-11-28) x86_64 GNU/Linux
    root@buster# lsb_release -d    Description:    Debian GNU/Linux
10 (buster)
    and everything looks ok
