Bearing or enduring pain, trouble, opposition, deprivation,
without complaining, losing one's self control, making a disturbance, etc.
Refusing to be provoked or angered by an insult. Forbearing. Tolerant. Calmly
tolerating delay, confusion, inefficiency. The ability to wait calmly. Steady,
diligent, persevering as a worker.
