Peace for the Troubled
Soul
PEACE,
A state of quiet or tranquillity; freedom from
disturbance or agitation of the mind.
Quietness; Freedom from internal commotion; Freedom from private quarrels, suits or
disturbance.
Freedom from agitation or disturbance by the passions,
as from fear, terror, anger, anxiety or the like; quietness of mind;
tranquillity; calmness; quiet of conscience. Heavenly rest; the happiness of heaven. Harmony; concord;
Matthew 11:28-30
"Come unto me,
all ye that labour
and are heavy laden,
and I will give you
rest[G=refreshing}.
Take my yoke upon
you, and learn of me;
for I am meek
and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find
rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is
easy, and my burden is light."
