i think one of the main points of dynamic swf construction is to be
able to instantly wrap images (and maybe fonts) in SWF. AFAIK,
flash has the ability to read JPGs and PNGs directly only since v8.
i could think of other valid uses too.
this is getting a bit off-topic though, sorry.
I think it would be nice to generate complex vector graphics and or
embed fonts. Doing vector graphics in bytecode (AS2 or haXe) is not
as fast is loading a pre-generated vector encoded in the library of
the swf. Of course fonts can only come from the library. Images and
MP3 files would be nice to encode, but they can be fetched at runtime
so that is less interesting.
