Because there is no 64-bit integer in Neko :)
Alright, why is there no 64-bit integer in Neko? Ok, I'm joking. My real question was, isn't it dangerous to silently convert an int to a float? Wouldn't it be better to convert to a string whenever no safe conversion to a neko type can be made?
