[Neko] Problem compiling neko 1.5.3 on Linux

Hello list,

  I've just tried to compile neko 1.5.3 on Linux (Fedora Core 4) and
  got an error message immediately:

    cc1: error: unrecognized command line option "-fno-stack-protector"

  Everything seemed to compile fine before the update...
