[Neko] mod_neko and mod_neko2

Hi everybody, just a very quick question: is there any way to solve 
incompatibilty between mod_neko2 and Apache 2.0.x?
I installed neko + haxe and everything is ok but mod_neko2... I can't 
upgrade my Apache because I'm on a Virtual Private Server but Apache 
upgrading to 2.2.x version is not planned in the near future. So, is 
there any other way to have mod_neko2 working or have I to wait till my 
hosting provider will upgrade to Apache 2.2.x?
