Hi,

I think I need Unix socket connection at least, and I've also found your mysql5 
library not 100% stable on Windows as you might remember, so a bit in doubt of 
putting it into a live production environment so far. But thanks, this might be 
an option too.

In case you don't need SSL or Unix Socket connection, you can build the 
mysql5 library which is a pure ANSI C library with 0 dependencies (since 
I rewrote the mysql client).
