Once again, several InformIT guides have created parallel articles. This time, several of us are covering graphics, and you'll find a wealth of knowledge about working with graphics, from development efforts all the way to applications that use those graphics. In today's article I'll explain the two primary methods to store or reference graphics in SQL Server.

While you're here, you should really check out Baya Pavliashvili's article on Analysis Services cubes. In it you'll find an overview, use, and even examples of cubes using Microsoft SQL Server. Good stuff!

Spotlight: New Book

SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services streamlines the process of extricating meaningful reports from your data sources. Hitchhiker's Guide to SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services picks up where the Microsoft documentation leaves off, providing report developers, database administrators, application developers, their managers, and report users with invaluable inside information on the workings of Reporting Services. (I'm not sure if it actually includes a towel, however.)
