on the original question, it's not gonna happen because the rv is worth more in it's very good condition & time spent revamping stuff like that is unpaid time....but as a rhetorical question, the chevy is an 85 and the ford is late 80's I think...maybe early 90's.

  OKAY so how old the (F)Found/Fixing (O)On/Or (R)Road/Repairing (D)
Dead/Daily?  ANd what year is the chevy engine?  Just curious,
because if it's newer than you want to bring the computer over from
the chevy as well.  Computers from different vehicle makers are not
compatible, just FYI.  Some more info would be nice on this subject
as I love to work on cars (17 years in the making).  It'd be cool to
help y'all out here, with whatever Q's you may have, and yes measure
EVERYTHING!  You can buy kits from like JCWhitney to custom an
engine exchange, but everything must be PERFECT or you WILL HAVE
PROBLEMS later down the road, I Promise!  NO MICKEY MOUSING WHEN
DOING AN ENGINE EXCHANGE!  This is really serious stuff!  But cool!
