All Horoscopes: http://web1.nypost.com/cgi-bin/horoscope.pl
ARIES
Others can dwell on their worries and woes if they want to, but you have better
things to do with your time and your energy. Unlike certain more negative
members of the zodiac, you know that life is what you make of it; that you are
not at the whim of forces outside your control. Expect great things of yourself
today, and great things will happen.
1-900-990-7810*
TAURUS
You may not be in the most sociable mood at the moment, but that's OK because
the more time you spend alone with your thoughts, the less likely it is you
will make any major mistakes when the time comes to act. When will that time
be? Most likely when the sun moves in your favour on the 21st. It's not so long
to wait.
1-900-990-7811*
GEMINI
You probably cannot be bothered to make much of an effort today, and why should
you when others are quite happy to make an effort for you? If there is
something you want done but you don't want to do it yourself, use your powers
of persuasion to convince a friend or colleague to do it for you. Don't forget
to lavish him with praise.
1-900-990-7812*
CANCER
There is no point in arguing over what, to you, is a trivial matter. It is a
waste of your time and your energy. If others want to make an issue of it, that
is up to them, but you are under no obligation to join in. The most important
thing now is your physical, mental and emotional health, so be kind to yourself
and give confrontation a miss.
1-900-990-7813*
LEO
You can quite easily heal a rift with a partner or loved one if you want to,
but you will have to say one or two things you may not entirely believe. On
this occasion it is OK to tell a few little lies, because your motives are good
and you are thinking of other people as much as you are of yourself. Just don't
make a habit of it.
1-900-990-7814*
VIRGO
If you speak without thinking, you might say something that makes your domestic
situation even more of a problem than it has been lately - and that won't be
good for you or for those with whom you share your day-to-day existence. If you
can't say something nice, say nothing at all. Pretend you've got a sore throat
for the next 24 hours.
1-900-990-7815*
LIBRA
You will either say too much or not say enough today - it will be one extreme
or the other. Libra may be the sign of the balance, but there is precious
little about you that is balanced at the moment. Both in your personal life and
at work, avoid people who you know are likely to annoy you. Or maybe they'll be
smart and avoid you!
1-900-990-7816*
SCORPIO
Mars in your birth sign endows you with plenty of energy, but are you using it
wisely? That is the question that needs to be answered today. The fact is, you
are wasting too much of it on things that are of no importance and on people
who care nothing for you personally. It might be time to rethink your
priorities.
1-900-990-7817*
SAGITTARIUS
You will get the chance to do a good deed for someone today and it will be as
beneficial for you as it is for him. It's not true that you think only of your
own needs and desires, although it might sometimes look that way, and you will
get the opportunity to prove it over the next 24 hours. There's a big heart
under that tough exterior.
1-900-990-7818*
CAPRICORN
Your secret feelings for someone won't be secret much longer. According to your
solar chart, friends and colleagues are beginning to notice the way you behave
when a certain person comes by, and they have put two and two together and come
up with the correct answer. Don't be embarrassed: There is nothing wrong with
having a crush on someone.
1-900-990-7819*
AQUARIUS
Be very careful what you say to and how you deal with people in positions of
power today because if you give them the impression that you are getting too
big for your boots, they won't hesitate to cut you down to size. You don't have
to be dishonest about the way you feel, but you do have to respect their
position.
1-900-990-7808*
PISCES
Duty calls and you must answer, but you won't be too happy about it - there are
so many other more interesting things you want to be doing. The good news is
that if you knuckle down and do what is expected of you today, it won't be long
before you get your freedom, certainly no later than when the sun changes signs
on the 21st.

LOSER'S WHOLE NEW MEANING
By Cindy Adams
THERE currently exists a glut of reality show losers, most of whom are turn
ing to be winners. All have agents, p.r. reps, managers, moxie and chutzpah
up the kazoo. Not one is humble, quiet, modest, unassuming or afraid of the
spotlight. Each wants to be a star. The entertainment ethos will soon be
peopled by more reality types than real types.

ROD Stewart's "Every Picture Tells a Story" would make a great theme for
"Other People's Pictures," a documentary about a strange hobby: collecting
discarded or lost home snapshots.

BY TAMAR JACOBY
THE immigration wars have started again in Washington, with this round,

ELIOT Spitzer is running for governor. The attorney general who thinks he

gubernatorial campaign this week, Spitzer rolled up his shirtsleeves and posed
as a populist reformer.
