Deb -

great to hear from you...Jude's doing alot better in
school too...(ie no notes home...)there's something to
be said for maturing...and for having a more
experienced teacher (who doesn't make big deals over
what amounts to essentially nothing)...and it's
wonderful to hear that jonah is doing so well...god,
what a scary couple of years for you...

this is our first christmas without andrew...it's been
7 months

it's hard.

but we have a beautiful tree up; and had our
tree-trimming party uyesterday - the boys (jude and
friends) decorated the entire tree (except the top,
where they couldn't reach)--and did a really beautiful
job! I found these HUMONGOUS pine cones, and I had
glitter paint and glitter glue--and they decorated
them. And we made strufali (a traditional italian
desert for the holidays - honey balls...) Christmas
eve, my step-daughter is coming over, and i'll make
lobster - and i think king crab legs too. We'll stay
quiet on christmas. And for new years, we'll go out to
east hampton. it's so beautiful out there in the
winter..

Love marisa
