Version 0.50 of XIA (XPath In Ada) is now available on the McKae Technologies
website at [link]. This version of XIA is a beta release that implements a
significant portion of the XPath 1.0 specification. The current release adds
the handling of path expressions within predicates, and adds/completes

IMHO it's silly to worry about the number of allocations an deallocations when
you're talking about keeping up with someone typing at a keyboard (especially

uncommon to read posts implying that Ada eliminates the need for a significant
amount of pointer usage, compared to other programming languages. And

...Hmm. I wasn't questioning whether you had GNAT installed. You clearly said
that you did, but you did leave out the critical bit of information about the
name transform. Configure isn't smart enough to go looking for all possible
compilers. It looks for gcc or cc in the PATH and takes the first one it finds,
unless you force it. One way to force it - Mon, Dec 20 2004 10:39 am

...Ada 83 didn't have that elaborated type inheritance of Ada 95. I'm almost
sure that a possibility to have several File_Types was considered that time. ..
