A
Virtual Tour of America's Largest Home
http://www.biltmore.com/
The
Biltmore House, America's largest home, 'boasts 250 rooms, 65 fireplaces,
an indoor pool, bowling alley, priceless art and antiques.' George
Vanderbilt and his family spent the first Christmas in their new home in
1895. Now you can take the 'armchair tour of the rich wonders of
America's premier estate' and enjoy Christmas as the Vanderbilts did in
days of old. Wander through the home, occasionally stopping to view
the 360 panoramic movies of some of the rooms. The Banquet Hall is
decorated for the holidays with garlands, poinsettias and of course a magnificent
Christmas tree. You'll certainly get some ideas for your own home
here, provided you have a 70-foot ceiling! Here's the perfect setting
for that dream Christmas. Make yourself at home; the library couch
in front of the fireplace is most inviting but remember, the preservationists
forbid sitting on the furniture!

My niece
bought her five-year-old daughter, Kayleigh, a hamster. One day he escaped
from his cage. The family turned the house upside down and finally found
him. Several weeks later, while Kayleigh was at school, he escaped from
his cage again. My niece searched frantically but never found the critter.
Hoping to make the loss less painful for Kayleigh, my niece took the cage
out of her room. When Kayleigh came home from school that afternoon, she
climbed into her mother's lap. "We've got a serious problem," she announced.
"Not only is my hamster gone again, but this time he took the cage."
