A 122 mm rocket slammed into a mess tent yesterday at a military base near the
northern city of Mosul, Iraq, ripping through the ceiling and spraying shrapnel

'Tis better to give: UA 105, Manhattan 75
Early Christmas presents were dished out all over McKale Center last night, but
coach Lute Olson wasn't the instigator. Neither was Santa. The Wildcats, for a
change, gave themselves a good time. In a 105-75 win over Manhattan, Arizona
finally played the kind of all-out, all-around game that has been eluding it
during most of its erratic season.

Open & Shut: Public records access
On three consecutive days in September 2004, journalists and students visited
about 120 government agencies across Arizona to test how they apply Arizona's
Public Records Law. They identified themselves by name only, because the law
does not require a reason when making a records request and so they would be
treated as average citizens. Read the three-day series of reports on StarNet.
