Here's what's new on StarNet, the online service of the Arizona Daily Star: U.S. judge greenlights Prop. 200 As of today, the state of Arizona will begin enforcing Proposition 200, the voter-approved initiative that denies some public benefits to illegal immigrants. A federal judge in Tucson on Wednesday lifted a temporary restraining order that had blocked the state from implementing the initiative. After his ruling, Gov. Janet Napolitano issued an executive order directing state agencies to comply with the law. http://www.azstarnet.com/sn/prop200 Olson happy as UA breaks for holiday Before he released the Wildcats for a four-day Christmas break, Arizona basketball coach Lute Olson asked his players to make sure they put in two hard conditioning workouts on their own.
