Hi Jon. I don't think there would be much difference in Mileage
between the two. Maybe a diesel powered rig would get a little
better mileage. Remember, RVs are not very aerodynamic. They cut the
wind like a brick. Also with the weight being so high it is a very
heavy brick at that. Being a Ford Man I would stick with the 351. Do
you have an overdrive? if not add an over/under drive unit. Maybe
also put on some flowthrough dual exhausts.
What year and make is your rig? Maybe someone else can give you more
modifications if they knew that.
