furling unit with the internal forestay and zippered luff on the jib. Don
Wigston designed it specifically for the 31 and I believe you get it through
him. I've cc'd him so you'll have his email, assuming he hasn't changed it.

Subject: Roller Furlers
I'm going to be replacing the jib roller furler on my 31UC (Have to
get a new one with the new mast). I had a Harken Unit 1, but I
always thought that unit was a little beefy for our needs. Harken
says this unit will handle a 36' mono, which I would think would
have a much bigger jib or genny than a 31. Anyone have any thoughts
on this? Also, I think Corsair's stock headstay wire is 9/16. So
that may be the deciding factor on the furler size. What do you
guys think??
