If you go to the point of removing the entire Vista View, wouldn't it better to replace the entire unit with the new Vista Views that are available?
Most of the various accounts that I have read about where the inside pane was broken out produced good results. There is thread on Tom Patterson's VAL site as well as the Airstream Forum. I read one post where someone had 16 Vista Views, hard to believe. I also see on the official A/S site that Vista Views are coming back on new units.
