Hello everyone.
I am planning to give away php products(software) on lease, ie, with
a license.
Now, the problem is when someone modifies the code and makes it
their own without letting us know
or
They illegally buy our software from an unauthorised person and use
it on their server.
Can you please recommend me of ways to secure the code. I have
thought of some ways but they have too many flaws. I know we can't
make it flawless but there must be a better way.
1. Let the software check our database for the serial. (Biggest
flaw: They can remove that checking system)
2. Encrypt the data and decrypt it using a function stored on our
server.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
