It�s annual maintenance time again�.
Crossing some short power-boat wash on the last sail of the season, I
noticed that the forward inboard beam ends were moving laterally some 3-5mm,
producing a definite palpable �clonk� whilst loading and unloading the
pressure pads. The cap shrouds were tight at the time as were the retaining
bolts and their receiving brackets.
Any ideas where to look for the cause of the play first? It�s quite
difficult to assess whether any of the pivots have developed wear whilst
it�s on the trailer.
