One question first did you try to scan with Adware?

And if that did not do it uninstall any yahoo bar or any other bar that you
might have in the browser, and if you have plugins install in the firefox (
I use the same browser ) take them out
Restart and the icons must be gone

Oh yeah! What ever you do, don't run the icons

And try to change to a more robust firewall like the one on McAfee

Subject: PSC icons on desktop

I know this is very off topic, i apolagize.... but ive looked...
searched... but cannot find.

Somehow, there are 7 new icons on my desktop; games, casino, travel...
the common spyware crap.

Allthough, you cannot right click them, cannot move them, cannot drag them,
cannot do anything with them apart from select and run, wich I really dont
want to do.
I have ran a virus scan, and adware to remove spyware, nothing came up.
Even a file search on the whole hard drive doesnt find the files.

I have no idea how these had got there, within 5 minutes of browsing yahoo
using firefox browser, they got through zone alrm firewall, antivirus, and
me knowing something was being downloaded!
Has anybody any ideas on how to remove or even find the files?

Any help would be appreciated
Darren
