I can specify any characters I want for the file name including those extended characters for line drawing. I had no problem creating a file with a question mark in it and a nice straight graphic line to go with it and an empty blank made from the character number 255. If I change the pixel size of the screen to whatever (640 x480, 800 x 600, 1024 x 768) the DPI is always 96, and I've never had another DPI setting unless I change it myself.
