I have a big zip file ( 287mb ) where I want to "take out" 18 files and change

perhaps a zip to call from a shell command where you just put in the command

way to go about doing that, of course, depends on *exactly* what your app is
doing on on how you want it to behave, but Yes, that's about it! ...That's why
I never use such OCXs, because doing so means you automatically lose control

Dir$ finds funny file - 3 new

You know, I have a C application that can do this. I can specify any
characters I want for the file name including those extended characters for
line drawing. I had no problem creating a file with a question mark in it and
a nice straight graphic line to go with it and an empty blank made from the
character number 255. VB doesn't like those names though. - Thurs, Dec 30 2004

ObjPtr Fails In Debug Mode - 1 new

I have been using ObjPtr to keep track of some objects using a collection. I
use their addresses as the key to the collection. I understand this is a
normal practice and it has worked for me in the past but with my latest
project it doesn't work right in VB's Debugger. It works fine at runtime but
that doesn't help when I am trying to fix - Thurs, Dec 30 2004 10:30 am

Small Screen Laptop Issue - 3 new

Yes. I am a man. It is Scottish (unlike me) and translates roughly as 'Pool
Island'. If I change the pixel size of the screen to whatever (640 x480, 800 x
600, 1024 x 768) the DPI is always 96, and I've never had another DPI setting
unless I change it myself. Just to clarify what I meant. :-) - Thurs, Dec 30
