Marv,

I use the spinnaker sheets for the screacher, which has worked well.  These
are 3/8" x 46'.  The advantages are less line clutter, less weight, and no
need to coil and uncoil new sheets to use the spinnaker.  The disadvantage
is that upwind you have to change the lead from a block on the traveler
riser (for the spinnaker) to the block on a canvas strap around the aka (for
the screacher).  Because of this, it's probably not a good setup for racing.
Downwind, however, I find that a snatch block on the aka/ama junction is
fine for both sails.

What is the recommend size and length for screacher sheets? When my F-27
manual was printed there was no bowsprit or screacher listed in the manual.
