"I do some laminating of fabric to various surfaces and have
noticed that many glues are different now than they were 15
years ago. This morning I went to the 3M website and see that
they sell my old favorite #77 in two different forms: "Super
#77" and "Super #77 orig. formula (not for sale in CA) !! So
what is the difference? Is there a difference in the glue, or
the propellant? And maybe it is better that the mouse fur not
stick too tightly to the surface. It is nice to be able to peel
it back for repairs. And what about using whatever Corsair
uses? BTW, what does Corsair use for that job?"

When I was preparing to apply the Frontrunner fabric to the interior of my
boat, I checked with the supplier Corsair uses, for the product whose name I
cannot remember. Unfortunately the contact I made with their supplier said they
only sell in large quantities, such as a 55 gallon drum. A bit more than
what I needed. However perhaps Corsair will sell some if they can get the OK to
ship it. Some of these things seem to contain some pretty nasty ingredients.
But Super 77 seems to be adequate for this job. Peter O'Neill, F9AX
