I remember the grill running lights very well, BUT, I am well over 55
and also vividly remember having stuff like: "DingleBerries, 8 Ball or
big Dice gearshifters, "Necker Knobs", Purple windshield lights, 56
Olds "Spinner Caps", Flying Fox Tails, and sectioned tail dragger
Merc's with flame shooting exhaust tip chromies.

What a hoot.  Some of the best parts of getting is the memories of
days long gone (I think).
