and I get this error:

    apt-get remove neo4j
    apt-get purge neo4j

but I get the follwing error:

     invoke-rc.d: unknown initscript, /etc/init.d/neo4j-service not
    found.
    dpkg: error processing neo4j (--remove):
subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit
    status 100
    Errors were encountered while processing:

    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
