Briefly, some unique features - 7 Tubes - for displayed resolution down to one tenth of a second It utilizes IN17 mini nixie tubes with "real" 5 digits (they don't look like S's) Accurate timekeeping using a TXCO to less than 1 second per day USB Interface for external control and firmware upgrades ..Plus a large set of other features and special display effects.. This first version is available assembled in a laser-cut Cherry veneer enclosure. Very soon, I will post the Eagle CAD for the board along with the source code under cc-by-sa and GPL open source licensing. Some more technical detail - It uses the same processor as the popular Arduino, the Atmel '328. It includes a Bluetooth option for wireless communication. I intend to offer the same board with different versions of adapter boards to support other tube types including up to up to 8 B7971s.
