I understand that the lawyers want to make sure that you understand the regulatory obligations endured by the company before doing business with them.

But... making the visitor agree to ten pages of legal boilerplate to view *anything* on the website? That's so wrong that it's funny.

When you meet a hedge fund salesperson face to face, does he whip out a long, long contract for you to sign before he'll say, "Hi, how are you?"

Surely they could put the T&C thing in a bit deeper, such as at a point where you're about to actually engage in commerce with the company.
