Taking longer than I expected, as per usual, but I have 75 pairs of
IV-17
smartsocket pcbs and enough components (I think) to build or make into
enough
kits for about 20 units. I will restock in response to demand,
naturally.

But first, I hope to put together 5 sets of the pre-production pcb's
and
components for sale at a discounted price within the next few days.
They are functionally identical to versions which come later except
they do not
have a real time clock function. As a straight data display (with all
the usual
effects and fonts) they work great, so they're ideal for using with
your own
controller designs. (You will only need to send data to them when you
wish to
change the display so there is very little processor overhead). Might
be an ideal opportunity for someone to get started witha 'mini-FLW',
but with
all the complicated display code removed from the equation.

Just to get them off my shelf I will be asking £19.50 for a pair of
boards, with
all components, except a 5V supply, the 4 tubes or PCB mounting
hardware/case.
4 tubes can be provided for each unit, just ask for a price if you
need them.

There is no reason that all 5 units cannot be daisychained together to
make a 20
character display, so if you want to go mad and buy the lot in one go
just make
me an offer !
