Just to chime in.... I have a few accounts on ebay. One (up until a year ago) was for selling RC Truck parts. 348 auctions daily. Amazingly, about 25% was for OUT of the United States. I would say that nearly 100% of those buyers asked that they be marked as gifts. I was told "They are being purchased as gifts for their kids, etc." Yah yah, I know. Not saying it is right or wrong. Just saying that I only ever had one issue with customs (excluding lost packages) over the 1.5 years I was selling those parts. That issue was for the hoods (bigest part).
