Cool indeed.  That's a good looking case, and a really nifty and unusual clock.
I like it a lot.

I have one question, and one thought to add:

Do you update the digits by sweeping entirely through all of them for visual 
interest,
or to provide an opportunity to check the tube synch each time?

Maybe you could PWM the nixie to make it a little dimmer, to match the E1Ts.  
As it is,
it's a lot brighter, and I'm guessing you're running it at its rated current, 
so reducing
the current wouldn't be a good idea.  You could just add a filter, but throwing 
away
nixie photons seems like a crime, so keeping it off part of the time (getting 
more life
out of it) seems like the way to go.
