Quite noisy, I suppose ;-) Further I am afraid the heat capacity of your oven cools the air too much.... Apart from that it depends on de size of your oven. Further I the temperature control is in your heat source and not in then oven, so the temp you set is very uncertain. Last but not least, I am afraid the capacity of your heat gun is not constant enough, with the result quick and significant temperature changes in the oven, just what you want to avoid ! A professional annoying oven buffers its heat in the walls, equalizing the temperature.

The pipe is open at the bottom (this is where the hot air gets in) and closed with a cap or so on top (not airtight, with a few small holes). I will also mount a fixture on the cap so that I can easily insert the tube into the "oven" by installing the cap on the upper end of the pipe. The advantage is clear: it is very small, and very cheap. The only problem is that I have no direct temperature control, so I will have to insert a thermometer and adjust the pistol temperature accordingly. Does this sound like something that will work?
