Here's a few more to support your posts:

- Less weight.
- Fewer calories.
- Smaller Carbon footprint.

Although in fairness, since were nitpicking here; you could make your tube 
life comparison of operating at equal cathode current to direct drive, to 
include the penalty of substantially reduced brightness.
