I had the same problem. However, I got tired of replacing screen doors, so I just made them wear a collar. It's been about 10 years now (3 lost collars, and about 20 batteries). There is the nice RFID unit on ebay for $200 (but a google search will get it for you at about $120). Either way you go, it's a great buy. Michail PS. Note: I got tired of the one can bringing in birds, mice, and goffers. Put a bell on his collar. The magnet took a liking to it which silenced it. Just have to figure out the right spot for the bell. Don't worry about it. Strays don't have magnet collars! Thing to worry about is if your cat will tolerate a collar. My two kitties go into fits if I put a collar on them. They lay in a ball claws dug into the collar and growl. Hours on end until I take it off! So much for that! ron -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "neonixie-l" group. To post to this group, send an email to [email protected].
