Useful vacuum tube based instruments could be e.g. a regulated power
supply, with various outputs, for tube experiments, an electrometer..a
voltmeter.. a Geiger counter with a photomultiplier tube, maybe? :) ..a
Theremin.. or what about something as crazy as a stroboscope tachometer? :)
