I'm thinking a Longines meets Steampunk clone would be cool here. A similar 
case to house any one of the now widely available IN-12 ebay nixie clock 
kits could be constructed from various brass fittings, tubing, and general 
hardware store bits and pieces. It would clearly only draw inspiration from 
this design, and with just a little planning, could be constructed in a 
weekend.
